#ComicConSlam - Cosplayer

Portrait Slam would like to invite you to participate in a cosplay themed photo contest from now until April 15th, in support of the recently canceled Medford Comic Con. This slam is a social-distance friendly event, with the goal of preserving the spirit of creative collaboration as we ride out this storm together. Here are the rules for participation:

• Creatives will organize their own shoots.  *Please limit these shoots to creative self portraits, one-on-ones, or groups of 5 or less & shoot responsibly (maintain a safe distance, avoid crowds, sanitize, shoot from home if possible)
• We’ll host a photo contest on April 15th. Prizes by Astral Games & Rogue Comics will be awarded to the photographer & model who created the winning image on Instagram’s #ComicConSlam. Live outside of the Rogue Valley? No worries, we will mail your prizes!
• Images must have been taken between 3/15-4/15 to qualify
• To participate, please tag @MedfordComicCon, @Portrait_Slam and use the hashtag #ComicConSlam on Instagram posts 
• We’ll be inviting cosplayers from across the PNW to participate in this shared gallery
• @Smoke.Effect has donated twenty 60 second colored smoke grenades for the cause. They should arrive by Wednesday. If you’d like one and are willing to pick it up from our porch near Downtown Medford, please let us know. We have six left
• Planning to participate or looking for creatives to collaborate with responsibly? Please mention us in your #ComicConSlam stories and we'll share it
• Registration is not required for participation
